Tackling Poverty
Oceanic Tackles poverty in Delta State

The fight against the scourge of poverty received a boost with the formal launch of the Delta Oceanic Micro Credit Scheme (DOMSA), a tripartite partnership effort involving Oceanic Bank, the Delta State Government and the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

The launch also witnessed the presentation of fund disbursement certificates to some entrepreneurs. The scheme is designed to empower the people of the state by making funds available to them to set up small businesses.

Helping Victims of Natural Disasters
Donations to flood victims in Borno and Adamawa

Oceanic Bank donated relief materials to flood victims of in Borno and Adamawa States. The Bank identifies with efforts geared towards ensuring support for victims of natural disasters.

Preventing Human Trafficking
Oceanic Bank reiterates support for NAPTIP

Oceanic Bank has restated its resolve to continually partner with the National Agency for the Prevention of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) to enable it achieve its target goals.

The bank is always willing to enter into partnerships that would lead to progress and development of women and children in society, which is the cause being championed by NAPTIP.

A “Charity walk” which started at the Eagle Square in Abuja saw the participants walking across part of the city through FCDA secretariat Area 11 to Area 10 parade ground, where it ended.

The walk is a symbolic endeavor to signal the determination of all participants to join the fight against human trafficking in the country.
