In an effort to advance girl-child education in the country, Oceanic Bank rehabilitated the ancient Government Girls Arabic Secondary School and its hostels in Babura Jigawa state.

The renovation of the school comprising 16 blocks of classrooms and student hostels, is in keeping with the bank's CSR policy and was executed via strategic partnership with the state. The bank sees the rehabilitation project as a veritable vehicle for advancing the cause of girl-child education in Jigawa State.

Oceanic Bank donated 25 state-of-the-art desktop computers to Federal Polytechnic, Auchi.

The bank's delegation during the presentation ceremony at the institution was led by Mr. Famous Ajemrona, Zonal Head, Rivers/Bayelsa.

Buoyed by its pedigree of giving back to the society in areas that facilitate robust human capital and socioeconomic development across the nation, Oceanic Bank donated a science block to the Cross River State University of Science & Technology (CRUTECH) to help reduce the current congestion in lecture theatres in the institution.
